I feel like I'm losing my mind a little: people understand that 'occupying buildings on campus' is, like, one of the most common forms of studen protest for decades and not some devious new ploy devised by professional anarchist plotters, right?

Yeah, the NYPD deployed a Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicle to aid in the crack down on peaceful, unarmed student protesters. These are military vehicles designed specifically to withstand improvised explosive device (IED) attacks & ambushes. What a joke.

.CNN talking about how no one was hurt, and the NYPD was careful. Meanwhile videos like this are all over social media. This one from the IG page of Columbia Students for Justice in Palestine.

Also reports of officers turning off body cams and then using excessive force against students.

Taking over Hamilton Hall as done in 1968, Columbia students unfurl a banner that reads 'Hind's Hall,' in reference to Hind Rajab, a six-year-old girl killed by Israeli forces.
Hundreds of students cheer as the banner is revealed, erupting into chants to 'Free Palestine.'

This is so very painful & enraging to watch. Our constitutional rights are being spat on in service of a genocide.

Four women at ASU had their hijabs removed by police following arrest. Here we see them remove it (all blurred) and then just put a hoodie on her head*.

This is a major development. It’s been weeks since “Screams without Words” fell apart. The The New York Times should do the right thing, and retract it and apologize for this journalistic malpractice.

Jessica Seinfeld, wife of Jerry Seinfeld, just donated $5,000 (more than anyone else) to the GoFundMe of the pro-Israel UCLA rally.
At this rally, participants yelled “I hope they rape you” & spat on and used the N-word towards pro-Palestinian students.

Bassem Tamimi, father of Ahed Tamimi, is still in Israeli prison after serving 6 months under administrative detention.

He was supposed to be released yesterday, but an Israeli military court extended his detention another 6 months. He hasn't been charged with anything.

Refaat Alareer wrote a poem called “If I Die,” asking people to fly a kite in his name if he’s killed to give hope to orphaned children.

He wrote it for his daughter, Shaima.

Israel killed him. Months later Shaima had a baby.

Israel killed Shaima.

And her husband and baby.

Back in November, Biden officials predicted that the outrage over Israel's slaughter in Gaza would fizzle out in a few weeks...

It is worth watching this CNN video from the moment Emory Econ Professor Caroline Fohlin came across the violent arrest of a protester on campus and asked the police, with shock, 'What are you doing?' That's all that prompted an officer to hurl her to the ground and handcuff her.

‘If she rather be arrested for fighting for Palestine, I’d be the happiest daddy’

In the midst of the horrors of Gaza’s mass graves, wailing Palestinian mothers & this country’s genocidal zeal, what a blessing to hear this father roar for his daughter & roar for Palestinians.

German police are doing overnight raids of people’s homes for pro-Palestine social media posts.

Horrifying. All the news that has been coming out of Germany for 7 months shows a deeper spiral into a fascistic police state. Groundwork for this, ofc, has long been laid.
