A new Severe Thunderstorm Warning for St. Tammany Parish until 9:00 pm for possible winds over 70 mph and hail to 1' in size. It's moving east at about 40 mph. NON severe storms still expected in New Orleans by 9 pm tonight.

Severe Thunderstorm Warnings now up Including Tangipahoa, and St. Tammany Parishes until 8:30 pm for possible winds over 70 mph and St. James, St. John the Baptist, and Lafourche Parishes also until 8:30 pm for possible winds over 60 mph. wdsu

A line of intense/severe storms are heading towards SELA, including the metro. Here's the latest track and estimated times of arrival. We're still expecting the storms in New Orleans around 8:30 pm or so. Winds over 75 mph are possible and a tornado can't be ruled out!

Reports coming in of a tornado spotted in Sulphur just west of Lake Charles. Hearing of damage reports too. These same storms are headed towards Southeast Louisiana. wdsu
