We’re very proud of Daniel who met and shook hands with Jane Hutt CBE, Alun Michael MP Police and Crime Commissioner, Emma Wools Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner and Stephen Doughty MP after the recent Fairtrade competition by VOG Fairtrade at Dinas Powys Library. BENDIGEDIG!

Year 2D had a fantastic time completing the 2.6 miles for The TCS Mini London Marathon for schools. They chose their own music playlist to keep them motivated and were AMAZING! The Daily Mile UK I Run Wales TCS London Marathon

Thank you Kim from The Vale of Glamorgan Healthy Schools Scheme for helping Year 3 to learn about food groups and the importance of eating a balanced diet. We were amazed at how much sugar there is in different food and drink!

Diolch to Paul, Llewelyn and Mel for showing us around at #Cosmeston Vale Council 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿🇺🇦 #wildlife . We loved pond dipping and looking at all the types of environments, for animals, within the Park.

Year 4 had a lovely day at Cosmeston. We enjoyed pond dipping and discovering habitats in our local area.

Year 6 were awesome in their Dance performance this evening at Barry Memo’s ‘Best Foot Forward’

Well done to the Year 2 Eco-Committee for winning the runner up prize in the Vale of Glamorgan’s Fairtrade competition.

Year 3 pupils had an energetic, fun- fulled day taking part in ‘ Mini Olympics’ as an entry point to their topic, Healthy Me!
They used their numeracy skills to record their results and learnt about the structure of the forthcoming Olympics.

4S had a brilliant day completing our Entry Point Day outside in Coed y Murch and the orchard. We were thankful for the sunshine! ☀️
