Championing youth is a cornerstone of our priorities.

Given the post-Brexit negative impact on young people's mobility, we came forward with a proposal, under EU #YouthTest initiative, to the EU institutions to consider a possible reciprocal youth mobility scheme with the UK.⬇️

Great initiative from President Lula - it is key to address this as a crucial issue for EU-Mercosur relations & climate action.

Nevertheless, the European Commission's proposal for a new EU law is a step further that will improve working conditions for trainees, including pay and quality of traineeships in the EU.
