An exciting day for us at PEMC as we welcome Jessica Berry home or as we should now refer to her as Dr Jess Berry! Congratulations all round as Jess successfully passed her viva yesterday 🎉

We're looking forward to welcoming over 450 school students from years 7-13 tomorrow for our Science and Technology Showcase.

This is a unique opportunity for pupils to talk with undergraduate students, PhD students and staff about what it’s like to study and work in STEM.

Over the past two weeks, we welcomed 10 different schools from the Devon area to visit the lab and learn all about #ElectronMicroscopy from biological sample preparation to sample analysis! 👩‍🔬 🔬 🦠
