They discussed the current humanitarian crisis in #Sudan 🇸🇩 and how #Spain 🇪🇦 can contribute to help in alleviating the Sudanese people's suffering.

It was a pleasure to meet Djibouti Foreign Minister Mahmoud Ali youssouf in the margins of the International Humanitarian Conference for Sudan.

The EU and Djibouti share strong relations.

We agreed to strengthen our partnership and contribute to restore regional security.

It was a pleasure to close the civilian seminar of the #SudanConference in Paris alongside envoys from France and Germany. I am encouraged by the spirit of dialogue and commitment to sustainable peace by this diverse group. We will remain steadfast at the side of 🇸🇩 civilians.

The European Commission committed €355 million in humanitarian and development funding for #Sudan and its neighbours.

Together with the pledge from EU Member States of €541 million, total 🇪🇺 support pledged at the #Sudan Conference is €896 million.
