Today I met with Inter IKEA Group delegation together with the Swedish Ambassador to Rwanda.We discussed business opportunities in Rwanda. IKEA is interested in Made in Rwanda Products (Tea, home furniture..). I assured IKEA of Rwanda's readness & commitment to working with them

I have had a productive meeting with Mr. Alain EBOBISSE, CEO of Africa50. We deeply discussed on how to speed up the implementation of the Kigali Innovation City Project, a joint development partnership between the Government of Rwanda and Africa 50.

Today, I joined Edouard Ngirente and his fantastic team to launch the Rwanda Future Drivers of Growth study, a joint report from Ministry of Finance & Economic Planning and World Bank. An important milestone on the path to #Vision2050

I was delighted to officially launch, in presence of Kristalina Georgieva, CEO World Bank the Report on Future Drivers of Growth in Rwanda.Its findings come to complement strategies that the Government of Rwanda has already begun to implement in order to deal with some of the identified challenges

Industrialization is key in order to encourage broad-based growth in the continent. For this to happen, regional integration will play an important role in this journey. The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) is therefore a great step forward!

The modern & equipped building to host #Rwanda TVET Trainer Institute (RTTI) in IPRC - Kigali which I inaugurated this morning will play a crucial role in the development of highly skilled youth necessary to achieve our country’s goal of becoming a knowledge-based economy.

Was honoured to represent H.E Paul Kagame at the Global Summit of the World Travel & Tourism Council in #Argentina where #Rwanda was recipient of the inaugural Global Leadership Award. I explained the role of tourism in Rwanda's development journey.
