As a Member of the Committee on Education & the Workforce Democrats, I'm proud to recently support the House passage of the Stronger Workforce for America Act. Let us continue to stand with all workers and support increased access to good-paying job opportunities for everyone.

On Workers’ Memorial Day, let’s all remember and honor workers who were injured or died on the job. In their memory, we have a responsibility to fight for workers’ rights in every field. You have the power to transform your workplace—everybody deserves a union!

On Workers’ Memorial Day, we honor those who have lost their lives on the job, from the construction workers who built our bridges to the nurses who cared for us during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Working men and women are our unsung heroes, and we owe them a debt of gratitude.

Thank you to USW Local 8888! Workers’ Memorial Day is a reminder of the toll of workplace illness and injury. In 2022 alone, over 3.5 million workers were injured or made sick because of their jobs.

For too many individuals, discrimination remains a key barrier to health care access.

HHS.gov's final rule will help address these barriers and fulfill the intent of the Affordable Care Act.

Farmworkers are some of the most vulnerable workers in America.

Thanks to the U.S. Department of Labor new rule, H-2A workers will be empowered to stand up to some of the biggest challenges they face – such as employer retaliation, unsafe working conditions, and illegal recruitment practices.

American workers are seeing wages grow faster than prices as our economy remains strong. President Biden will keep working to build an economy where the middle class has a fair shot and no one is left behind.

Arming teachers is not the solution.

We know what actually works: universal background checks, red flag laws, safe storage, and an assault weapons ban.

Shame on extremists in the Tennessee legislature for failing to protect our children.

I can't believe I have to say this, but arming teachers does not make students safe.

This is an extremely dangerous precedent that could have fatal consequences.

LET'S GO! We’ve been pushing the FTC to ban noncompetes and now they are so close to finalizing a rule that will help 30 million workers lower their healthcare costs, expand innovation, and make higher salaries.

This is the result of doing the work for the people!
