On BBC Breakfast this morning, I outlined the Green Party's practical proposals to tackle the housing crisis.

We want to see an end to 'right to buy', an increase in the stock of council homes, and powers for councils to keep rents under 35% of average local income.

📺 Local councils have seen funding from the Government cut year after year under the Conservatives - and that has had huge long-term costs.

💚 I will continue to campaign for proper funding of local services - as effective investment for a fairer future.
