Busy day with this lovely lass. The Customs House summer panto, relaxed performance went down well with us. Then to Sunderland Mind for 50th Anniversary Summer Fayre. Great to see Breaking Tradition and the interest in 'We Are Sunderland' their The Cultural Spring commission.

On Friday the #Hetton Railway - George Stephenson's first purpose built steam #railway , celebrates its 200th anniversary. The Cultural Spring, Sunderland UK, HCR200 & many others have been celebrating the 'Stephenson Trail' & why this is such important heritage for #Sunderland 1/4
Friday was special.
A great day was had at Sunderland City Hall with The Hetton Colliery Railway 200 team.
Children from the local area celebrated the Stephenson Trail. Thanks too to Marty Longstaff (The Lake Poets).
Honouring incredible heritage at a wonderful event.
