A very wet 24hrs across #Cumbria , especially further north leading to some extreme river levels. Eg Thursby has had more than its May monthly average (50.2mm) in 12hrs and more than double that in 24hrs! Force Crag Mine over 100mm in 12hrs! Good to see the raingauges all working.

The severe #flood warning in #Cumbria for the River Roe and River Ive from Highbridge to Stockdalewath has been removed.

A multi-agency coordination group has been set up overnight as partner agencies deal with localised flooding in Cumbria following persistent rainfall.
