Diplomatic Roundtable Held to Address Humanitarian Crisis

On March 28, 2024, a crucial diplomatic roundtable was convened at the EU Embassy in Ethiopia, bringing together a spectrum of stakeholders to tackle the pressing humanitarian crisis gripping Ethiopia.

Earlier today, Kate Forbes convened with the diplomatic community in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

During the meeting, she underscored the vital role of local partners such as Ethiopian Red Cross Society and the importance of bolstering support to them for better impact within communities.

ERCS – the Center for Capacity Development for Humanitarian Services, hosted a session to raise awareness about First Aid with representatives of various organizations.

A delegation from the British Red Cross visited the ERCS, Oromia Region, East Shewa Zone Branch Office.
During the visit, the delegation was briefed on the ongoing activities conducted by the zonal branch office, particularly focusing on the Ethiopia Crisis to Resilience Project.
