On April 20, 2024, FAAJA President Echo King and Vice President Hongwei Shang attended the First Annual CALF Conference in New York. FAAJA engaged in discussions with over 100 Chinese American attorneys on strategies to safeguard the legal rights of Chinese Americans.

On April 19, 2024, FAAJA, CALDA and UCA rallied outside the U.S. District Court of Appeals courthouse against SB264 following the hearing on the Shen v. Simpson case.

02-19-24 President Day: Japanese Americans observe this day as a Day of Remembrance to honor and remember those that were torn from their homes, separated from their families, and courageously fought against the civil rights abuses they endured in the dark chapter of US history.

02-14-24: Today marks the 6th anniversary of the Parkland shooting, a tragic day that claimed the lives of 17 individuals. Among them was Peter Wang, a 15-year-old Chinese American who selflessly held the door open to help others escape, ultimately sacrificing his own life.

02-06-2024: FAAJA Day in Tallahassee. Key FAAJA leaders, including the president, treasurer, secretary, and several members, embarked on an overnight trip from Orlando to Tallahassee. Their aim was to collaborate with local FAAJA members for a series of strategic meetings.

01-30-24: Orange County Mayor Demings and staff held a meeting with FAAJA that lasted over an hour. We discussed FAAJA's mission, accomplishments, and future collaboration with the county in depth.

01-15-24: FAAJA Youth joined the non-profit organizations for the MLK Day of Service organized by Orange County which packed over 250,000 meals in a morning. Great job!

12-23-23: This Christmas, the Almond Blossom Initiative, FAAJA youth development, OCPA and LHOF provided the Christmas experience to 29 kids impacted by poverty at the New Hope Church in Apopka. FAAJA youth and other organizations played game, had lunch and gave out gifts.

12-23-23: FAAJA board member, Jesse Pan, was re-elected the Present of The Federation of Florida Chinese Associations, Inc., by 11 Chinese associations on December 23, 2023. Congratulations to Jesse Pan!

12-16-23: Today marks the 80th anniversary of the Repeal of the Chinese Exclusion Act. Ironically, over one hundred people from the Chinese community in Florida protested in heavy rain and storm to oppose a new round of the Chinese Exclusion Act.
