Today was bake sale day. We are supporting a charity close to Miss Powles and our hearts - Deaf Camp. We raised £112.80 amazing students and students who are all now full of cake!

A fantastic Tudor feast!
We tried venison, blue cheese, goats cheese, grapes, Cornish pasties. We learnt that the Tudors loved to add marzipan to their puddings to make them sweet.

A week of persuasive writing… will Mr Turton be persuaded by our letters for an end of year deaf base trip? We find out on Monday.

Amazing Animals! We had a great time finding out about millipedes, snakes, and hissing cockroaches!

Chemical changes! Watching the reaction between magnesium and heat. To protect our eyes we looked through these shields. It was exciting!

We were testing foods for sugar. What do you think had the most sugar… biscuits, strawberries or pineapple?
