I just said this to Chris Hayes for an upcoming pod and I think it's so important for people to understand: you can make a bulletproof case for the clean-energy transition that *doesn't mention climate change at all*.

There is some good reporting and analysis in this piece, but this framing is unnecessarily misleading. BIL and IRA are not the Recovery Act. It was never the intention nor the expectation that 'the vast majority' of those resources would be spent right away.
