Two mothers from Mothers of Victims and Survivors of Police Violence were drowned by the floods. While we mourn Mama Victor, we also mourn Jacinta Adhiambo and her two children Juvelin Apondi and Austin Ochieng. She was a lover and a caretaker. May she rest in power

Saddened to learn of the death of Comrade Zarina Patel. Zarina's activism and contribution to the struggle was immense. She edited the AwaaZ magazine and organized the SAMOOSA festival and authored many important books. Rest in Power Comrade!
