Time is passing by fast with lots of great experiences! 🤓😎👍Super happy that I had the chance to visit University of Oxford and the awesome Jackson lab! It was fabulous to work with the FlowCam and to finally meet in person Michelle Jackson Dania Albini Sam Macaulay James Orr 🤩 ECORISK2050
The FlowCam, used by oceanographers and marine ecologists, Amy Maas, Leo Blanco Bercial and Lauren Kittell-Porter, helps analyze plankton species and abundance (😱), offering valuable insights in characterizing plankton that comprise the ocean surface.

Third time I fix this monster ( FlowCam 3.0). Please don’t break again. Between that and defrosting the fridge, I felt like a technician again. #lab #lab equipment #lab life #0writting #postdocInTransition
This #PhycologyFriday feeling a bit upgraded ;) by using FlowCam for viewing my favourite #Phytoplankton at UMR Decod 😀 . A lot of #Ceratium . & It's quite interesting but I love them more under Microscope!!! 🔬 😃 AlgaTalk Algae Chat 🌿🧫 🦠

It was great hosting Vincent Sitzmann at our Harvard VCG seminar. He shared cool work on creating fast renderings of 3D scenes just from two images (pixelSplat), getting rid of camera poses in the scene reconstruction process (FlowCam), and other projects. Thanks for coming over :)
Half way through the cruise and we’ve learned a lot already! So far, Leocadio Blanco-Bercial and I have been mastering the FlowCam. Tomorrow we start picking with the microscope!
We're headed to Erie for #NALMS2023 — and running a workshop while we're there! Come out and learn about algal bloom tracking and prevention technologies with us, Phytoxigene and FlowCam
, and make sure to stop by our booth!
