I am sitting at the airport in Riga at way too early in the morning but with a bag full of inspirational take always from a discussion on EU enlargement to which I contributed some thoughts on how to #invigoratEU . Thank you Marija Golubeva for gathering us together
#CSOs are a pillar of European governance and as such should be supported by #EU funding and operating grants. #Independent media are crucial for functioning #democracies . Therefore, public broadcasters should be granted basic legal protection at the EU level.

What an interesting and insightful day in Moldova and experiencing the footprints of the EPC. Reintegration is a huge task but economic costs can be managed. Yet it is still a long way to go. Lot‘s of food for thought for #invigoratEU and Institut für Europäische Politik
