Muppets and Sesame Street visionary Jim Henson passed away on this day in 1990. He was just 53 years old. Shortly after, Disney artists sent this illustration of Mickey consoling Kermit to the The Jim Henson Company to pay homage.

Gone too soon but never forgotten.
Rest easy, Jim. 🙏
