Gone, but never forgotten. We opened the Yazidi Genocide Memorial in #Solagh #Sinjar . Having a place to grieve, particularly for those who could never bury their loved ones, is incredibly important. It is one step on the road to justice, but we have many more to go.

The returns to Sinjar are continuing and it’s imperative we listen to the beneficiaries to ensure our assistance is accurately targeted to meet their priority needs.

Today I’m in Babylon, the cradle of the ancient civilization, where we’re creating pathways to durable solutions for the remaining families displaced during the conflict.

One of the most beautiful things when you see your people are returning their homeland.
These were the 93 Ezidi families who left IDP camps in Kurdistan this morning and returned back to Sinjar.
As it’s seen that this process was done by IOM Iraq
