Wikipedia states many falsehoods about Lily Parr, she has been made into something that never existed. Sad thing is, it's being taught in schools. It does nothing for the integrity and legacy of DKL. They were real people after all, with real lives. They deserve better.

Wikipedia claims Dick, Kerr Ladies were the 1st professional women's football team. This is completely false. They were all working girls playing football to raise money for charity. They did not get paid to play football. Sad thing is, this fiction is being taught in schools.

Wikipedia says Lily Parr is rumoured to have played over 100 games for St Helens. This is completely false and impossible to have done. There is also no evidence to support she ever played for the team. Sad thing is, this is being taught in schools.

The playing record of DKL is actually, played 755, won 682, drawn 39, lost 34. Wikipedia still quotes old stats. Book was revised, with evidence, to reflect more information coming to light. Again, wrong info being taught in schools. History being incorrectly rewritten.
