.Donald J. Trump, you are just wrong. The Electoral Count Act of 1887 states that the VP shall “preside” over the EC vote count. Mike Pence doesn’t even have a vote. IF he objects, it will likely be duly noted, ruled out of order, and the majorities in Congress will proceed.
