Shortly before Brian was sworn in, Cheryl Preheim and I sat down to talk about the journey ahead for our family and the state. Over 5 years later, I am glad we got to sit down again and talk about what’s happened since and the importance of lending a voice to the voiceless.

It was an honor to be part of today’s GA National Guard Change of Command ceremony.

All of Georgia is thankful for MG Tom Carden’s service as @TAGofGeorgia, and we’re looking forward to MG Richard D. Wilson’s strong leadership as he steps into the role.

Today, Marty, Amy Porter and I joined law enforcement partners to honor nine brave Georgians who gave their lives in service to our state.

Yesterday in Valdosta, Marty and I enjoyed being at the Arglass facility to celebrate their recent expansion. This innovative company has helped provide great jobs and opportunity to South Georgia, and this new space will only increase their impact.

Today begins #JewishAmericanHeritageMonth across our state and nation. Georgia is proud to recognize this time to celebrate the rich history, culture, and remarkable achievements of the Jewish community, and to stand together against hatred and antisemitism.

Georgia has championed the safety of female athletes for years, and I've joined governors around the country in demanding better from this White House.
