Today we joined Governor Brian P. Kemp, Rep. Devan Seabaugh, & men & women in law enforcement for the signing of SB 517 - a new law to help officers do their jobs every day.

When they keep us safe, we don’t need them worrying about frivolous lawsuits or politically-motivated prosecutions.

Today, along with Governor Brian P. Kemp & First Lady Marty Kemp, I was honored to join the families of nine brave law enforcement officers who laid down their lives to keep us safe.

They're heroes, & we're forever grateful for their service & sacrifice.

We’re not New York or California - we won’t stand by while people illegally occupy our schools and threaten and intimidate our students.

Our team led a human trafficking prosecution training at the Child Abuse Prevention Conference in Augusta hosted by nonprofit Child Enrichment.

We need trained prosecutors, law enforcement & child advocates in the fight with us to protect Georgia’s children.

We will proudly stand by any university that takes action to protect the health and safety of Georgia’s students.

Nobody has the legal right to shut down our schools by camping out and making antisemitic threats.

In Feb. 2021, our Human Trafficking Prosecution Unit recovered a 14-year-old victim who had been missing from her home in College Park for nearly two months.

We pledged to bring every one of her traffickers to justice, and that’s exactly what we have done.

We’re grateful for the leadership of First Lady Marty Kemp, & we’re proud to work with her & Governor Brian P. Kemp to combat human trafficking in our state.

With these new laws, we’re able to support & assist even more victims while protecting our children from digital exploitation.
