Facing immense challenges, they ignite hope & save lives. But it comes with huge sacrifice and risk.

My deepest thanks goes to this group, for everything they do.

I was in UAE with Minister of State for Foreign Affairs H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan. We discussed the situation in the Middle East and the need for unified global action to deliver peace and a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza.

The flash appeal seeks to address urgent needs for over 3 million people in the OPT, most of whom are in #Gaza .

While needs are extensive, we focus on what is achievable in our current context.

We are calling for funding as well as improvements in access and security.

In the shadow of global crises, as Ramadan concludes, let's deepen our commitment to solidarity and remember those facing conflict and hardship everyday.

Withdrawing funds from UNRWA is perilous and would result in the collapse of the humanitarian system in Gaza, with far-reaching consequences in the occupied Palestinian territory and across the region.
