Here I am personally tolerating tube awake on these drugs as a patient in my own ICU.

Yesterday I had an adorable patient who shimmied to Gloria Estefan 🎶

Everyday of immobile lead to at least 7% muscle loss. Every % muscle loss lead to delayed extubation n lungs recovery
Central lines are painful & uncomfortable, PA catheters, dialysis catheters.., people adapt to the sensation of those devices & we walk- same is true of ET tube.. give people a chance.
