All branches of Howard County Library System are open Sunday from 1 pm to 5 pm, but will close Monday, January 1, 2024, in observance of New Year's Day. Passport services will not be available at East Columbia and Glenwood on January 1.

During regular business hrs, Howard County Recreation & Parks community ctrs (howardcountymd.gov/facilities), open till 9 pm (GJACC & NLCC) & 10 pm (RCCC) & HowardCountyLibrary branches (hclibrary.org/locations/), open till 9 pm, are also great places to stop by if u need a place to warm up tonight #HoCoMD .
