Our team along with Manipur Tribals Association organised a helpdesk for the victims of Manipur violence. We spent the day listening to heartbreaking stories of loss and damages. I hope our efforts get them some semblance of justice.

Our team will be supporting victims of Manipur violence in drafting and submitting their affidavits before the Judicial Inquiry Committee setup by the MHA on 23rd Jan. We are calling for 2-3 young lawyers capable of preparing affidavits or notary public to volunteer.

While this is not victory but is still huge in terms of sheer numbers. The news doesn't mention the efforts put up by our team Indian Civil Liberties Union but we're glad we played our part at pushing back the unnecessary demolition for now. The fight continues.
