And.. Leaders must learn to continue to invest in peace diplomacy even or especially when politics and problems at home make it difficult to do so. If not war and conflict will soon create more domestic problems.

Time after time these past weeks we have seen again and again that frozen conflicts never stay frozen forever, and that the more entrenched they become, the more dangerous they can be. The search for political solutions must never be abandoned.
