This year’s Balikatan 24 is the 39th iteration of the largest annual bilateral military exercise between the Armed Forces of the Philippines and the U.S.

PACFLT honors the service of retired Lt. Cmdr. Lou Conter during a memorial held in his honor on the USS Arizona Memorial. Conter was the last surviving USS Arizona (BB 39) veteran from the attack on Pearl Harbor. He passed away April 1 at the age of 102.
