We visited Baidoa, in the South West State, to explore Finland’s support through IOM Somalia. 🇸🇴 🇫🇮

It was great to meet with professionals at the Bay Regional Hospital, the only public hospital in an area that covers a million people, including internally displaced people.

Cross-border migration has proved to be a powerful force for poverty reduction for people in low- and middle-income countries. When migrants’ skills & attributes strongly match the needs of their destination society, migrants reap significant benefits.
