Over the last few days members from across the IWGB have been taking part in a Political Economy Training Course run by Rosa-Luxemburg-Stiftung London Office.

We've been learning about this history of the labour movement & our union, why we need to organise, & how we plan to build power at work.

A wonderful celebration today of St Joseph the Worker in our Spanish-language worship and a BBQ for International Workers Day with our Latin American church community and trade union friends

The IWGB is a union founded on the struggles of migrant workers. Our commitment as a union is to a world where all workers, regardless of ethnicity or immigration status can live a life of dignity, respect and safety.

We’re still buzzing from the Living Hours Forum Theatre event last Saturday!

A huge round of applause for the EFA ESOL student-actors who performed a play about their experiences of low pay and insecure work, and the obstacles we face when trying to solve these problems.

Erik Porter is the Chair of Rooted Finance who have fired 67% of their frontline staff after trying to unionise.

Today we held a demo outside his employer Wagestream, asking Erik to do the right thing and reinstate the workers.

It’s time to step in for the good of the charity.
