In response to the catastrophic humanitarian conditions in #Gaza , the IOM Egypt delivered a new batch of humanitarian aid to الهلال الأحمر المصري in #Arish , consisting of medical supplies, medicines, and hygiene/dignity kits, awaiting opening of safe humanitarian corridors to cross

Greatly appreciated the discussions with H.E. the Ambassador of Haiti Francois GuillaumeII on the impact of remittances on development. Stay tuned for more plans to highlight how remittances are a lifeline for migrants and their communities.

Had the pleasure to host HE Ambassador Valerie Lusamba Kabeya at the UN House on Sunday and to exchange on the latest developments of relevance to the Congo and Qatar.

Moving 1.1 million people across Gaza is a logistical impossibility. This will have devastating long-lasting economic, social and health consequences on the people who have to move.

It was a pleasure 2 host a delegation from the Netherlands at the UN House. This visit was in light of the UN solutions strategy 4 afghan refugees, of which Qatar is the chair & the Netherlands is a cochair. A wonderful hour of exchange & strategizing!
