US Congressman Sherman Urges Action In Tigray

Congressman Brad Sherman called on Department of State to take action to ensure the release of all Tigrayans, inc ex-ENDF soldiers, detained solely because of their identity, and the withdrawal of Eritrean forces from #Tigray as per the Pretoria accord.

#Ethiopia and #Sudan are the most dire human rights catastrophes this decade, yet don’t receive the attention they deserve from the international community.

UPDATE: The Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) released this dataset on May 16, the day after the open letter was delivered. From initial review, it appears that they either skipped most of the important questions in Tigray or continue to withhold that data.
