Tonight, Consul General Ofir Akunis of Israel in New York united with Holocaust survivor Tova Friedman at Columbia University, taking a stand against antisemitism. #NeverForget

Today, as we mark Yom Ha'Shoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day), we recall the horrors that antisemitism can lead to.

This testimony was from the Kristallnacht (Night of Broken Glass) Pogroms in 1938, but its disturbing words ring hauntingly true decades later.

Two disturbing photos, years apart but reflecting the same vile, murderous hatred against those who simply committed the 'crime' of being Jewish.

This Holocaust Remembrance Day, we mourn the six million Jews who were killed by the Nazis during one of the darkest chapters in human history.

And we recommit to heeding the lessons of the Shoah and realizing the responsibility of “Never Again.”
