CRookedGriNN Sorry. But Ryan Lee does not get to define the lexicon. Strain is, and always has been 100% appropriate for cannabis.
If a plant is developed by breeding, it is a strain. It is that simple. No need to over complicate things.
Cultivar = cultivated variety. That is it.

s.p.a.c.e.j.a.n.i.t.o.r Steve I've seen 1,000+ cannabinoid tests with images of trichomes, even the most amber ones, never had over 1% cbn. 0.5% was very rare in flower usually closer to 0.0 to 0.3% .. most of the amber in trichomes is terpenes, esters etc being oxidized or changing. Many prefer more sedative
JackGreenStalk Saying degradation doesn't mean CBN loses it's 'value', but I understand your point. The term 'organic' is used the same way, quite often misleading a person.
The terminology could use updating, but so could the thought process on what is happening.
So as I help others, I will
s.p.a.c.e.j.a.n.i.t.o.r Steve The word degradation, by definition, itself, means to move from one state, to a lower or less desirable one.
I'm pointing out the fact, you and many others in our community commonly use this term, subtly disparaging CBN. BUT nobody says that CBG degrades to THC..
Cbg makes thc
