Saturday morning ritual. To demarcate weekend from rest of the week my routine on a Saturday is to make a cup of tea and bring it back to bed. Then I read for an hour. The dogs have a biscuit each. Until recently Rene could jump onto the bed - now he needs a helping lift💝

She worms her way into your heart. When Rene had his eye removed he needed some peace and quiet so friends had DiDee for a week. When they gave her back they asked if I would leave her to them in my will🤣I don’t intend to give up just yet.

Glad to hear it. But it’s better I am left with no pet than that my pet is left without me.

He’s 13 - almost the life span of a Papillon. He was 10 when I got DiDee. She is very sociable and would probably get on with another dog. But I have to think of ‘afterwards’. My son is in Australia and my sister doesn’t enjoy good health. Wouldn’t want to leave my dogs homeless
