We meticulously identified 1800+ private equity-owned outpatient mental health and substance use treatment clinics from 2012-2023.
MA markets with larger benchmark cuts absorbed the cuts without shrinking the MA market, suggesting that insurers maintained benefits valued by marginal enrollees.
