Irish citizens hold an estimated $540.7 billion in offshore bank accounts, often in other tax havens.

Meanwhile our Government is busy voting down stronger global tax rules in the UN.

We all have to pay our taxes. So should the billionaires.

I am proud of the community I grew up in as a child that fought for 43 years to finally get justice for their loved ones.

Workers in the community and voluntary sectors deserve the pay increases they are entitled to under the October 2023 pay agreement.

We need immediate action.

And he's wrong, this Government is treating these workers like dirt.

Ireland is a high tax country with failing public services for working-class people, while the rich pay low taxes and can afford the best private services.

The top 1% wealthiest people in Ireland have accumulated 70 times more wealth than the bottom half of the country since 2012.

We can no longer afford to let the rich get richer while everyone else struggles.

We can no longer afford Fine Geal & Fianna Fáil in power.

New Fine Geal Taoiseach, another Fianna Fáil/Fine Geal government, same old failing political system.

We have been flagging the risk of THMs in Irish tap water for years (while #IrishWater have been downplaying them). Let’s see if George Lee RTÉ flags the issue at all in the pieces he is supposedly running on water this week.

Any balance? Any real scrutiny? Let’s see George!

Blaming the public (instead of #IrishWater ) is unacceptable.

In the 25 years since the Shannon pipeline was dreamed up only 5% of Dublin’s pipes have been replaced. It should have been 50%. THAT is the problem.
