As a fellow of the John Smith Trust, it was an honor to meet Scotland's First Minister, Mr. Humza Yousaf.

In our meeting, I sought his perspective on the link between gender-based violence and economic vulnerability, as well as protection & social programs for GBV victims in 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Last week I had a working lunch with UK Members of Parliament at Westminster. I was pleased to see much empathy towards the struggle of NK Armenians and an outstanding support to the Armenian issues by the MPs. Thank you, dear Carol Monaghan MP 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🇺🇦, Rupa Huq MP, and Rick Nimmo. 🇦🇲🇬🇧

Was delighted to meet with UK MPs, Peers & senior Clerks last week. As fellows of John Smith Trust we learnt a lot about parliamentary processes in UK and engaged in detailed dialogue about UK relations with our countries. Thanks a lot for hosting BGIPU Rick Nimmo Joe Perry

The UK stands in solidarity with the Belarusian people in the face of the Lukashenko regime’s relentless repression.

It was an honour to hear direct from the fellows of John Smith Trust. Their courage in pursuing a free and democratic future for Belarus is inspirational.

Our Fellows from #Belarus Diaspora Fellowship Programme had a brilliant workshop on Systems Thinking - thank you Saïd Business School and Professor Harvey Maylor!

🇬🇧 Research Fellow of the Topchubashov Center Center, Gulkhanim Mammadova participated in the residential phase of the John Smith Trust Fellowship between March 1 and 13. The program was attended by 11 individuals from Eastern Europe, the South Caucasus, and Central Asia. ⤵️
