Women and babies from ethnic minority groups continue to experience higher risks around birth. Our work with midwives from ethnic minority groups showed that care is affected by racial stereotypes & lack of cultural awareness #StateOfCare Care Quality Commission
Our #StateOfCare reports a further deterioration in maternity services; 49% are now rated as Inadequate or Requires Improvement - issues with engaging well with women & their families, communication, clinical leadership and governance orlo.uk/QXwL8
