Today I was refused entrance to Stratford Mags unless I agreed to a ‘pat down’ search. I explained I was happy for my bag, pockets, coat etc to be searched, but I did not understand why a pat down is necessary - I did not want to be patted down because of my last experience (1/?)

I have now formally been elected to be Middle Temple’s Deputy Treasurer Elect for 2024. I shall, all being well, be Deputy Treasurer in 2025 & Master Treasurer in 2026. This place is very special to me. I am thrilled & humbled to be chosen. My dad would be so proud

Divide by 52 weeks. Then by 40 hours is £15.57 an hour.

So £4.13 above the new minimum wage. Despite 6 years of medical school and circa £75,000 of debt.
