My acceptance speech on the King's Engaged Researcher Network award. Note a few things: 1) my skip, 2) this is definitely an Biomedical Engineering & Imaging Sciences team effort and 3) just how much the connections with centres like Coin Street and patient groups have meant to me and us all. We laughed and cried together!
I won my first research award! It was so unexpected I didn't even wash my hair that day 😂
