Before we turn more of our lives over to LLMs, we must vet their robustness. New papers from my lab shows LLMs it is surprisingly easy to ideologically manipulate LLMs.

This paper is special to me: it is dedicated to the memory of Rumi Ghosh, my second PhD student, who sadly passed away almost 3 years ago. The paper was her thesis work, about interactions between network structure and dynamic processes unfolding on them.

My grandmother's earliest memory was being forced into an icy river to die. My mother's earliest memory was fleeing Kyiv from the Nazis. This weekend Jews were hunted and slaughtered just like in the pogroms and Holocaust. Check on your Jewish friends. They are not ok.

I'm flabbergasted that anyone sees a parallel between Ukrainians fighting invading Russian soldiers, and Hamas smashing into Israel and slaughtering civilians. By all means criticize Israeli policy toward Gaza, but nothing justifies mass murder of kids at a dance.

To the people celebrating the mass murder of Israeli civilians, you have lost your humanity. To the people enthusiastically calling for Israel to decimate Gaza, densely populated with 2 million Palestinian civilians, you have lost your humanity. Israelis and Palestinians are real

These are not accidental shootings while Hamas targeted Israeli military forces. They went out of their way to murder, kidnap, and rape civilians. They parade prisoners and corpses through the streets.

You cannot sanitize it, no matter how much you yell whataboutisms.

-Not a cent has been spent

I've been fact-checking on Twitter for years, and there's always plenty of misinformation during major events.

But the deluge of false posts in the last two days, many boosted via Twitter Blue, is something else.

Neither fact-checkers nor Community Notes can keep up with this.

Hms & Hzb couldn’t plan & execute an attack of this scale without state support. Enter Iran & Russia.
This war helps 🇮🇷 prevent 🇮🇱-🇸🇦 normalization & 🇷🇺 divert intl focus & aid from #Ukraine
