Some fantastic multiagency work last night at an RTC with Greenock Coastguard Rescue Team & Largs Coastguard Rescue Team working alongside Scottish Amb SORT Largs Fire Station @AyrshireNPolice Ministry of Defence Police Largs Lifeboat EMRS Scotland including a second turnout to support making vehicle safe.
Tasking for Cumbrae Coastguard Rescue Team this morning to a boat aground after becoming disabled overnight and sustaining damage. Upon discovering that both main and auxiliary engines had failed, Largs Lifeboat were tasked to escort the vessel to a nearby slipway where it was successfully recovered.
I watched the Largs Lifeboat exercises today - they don't seem to be looking for canine volunteers at the moment but I registered my interest anyways ........ ๐พ๐ #rnli #savinglivesatsea
Today at 1036 Cumbrae Coastguard Rescue Team were tasked to assist a yacht caught on mooring buoy ropes West of the Eileans. Largs Lifeboat was also tasked to assist the vessel which was subsequently freed and taken under tow to Largs Marina. Team stood down at 1139. HMCG always on call 24x7x365
๐๐จCumbrae Coastguard Rescue Team were tasked early this morning to a vessel run aground off Sheanawally Point on Little Cumbrae Island. Team provided shore cover as vessel was assisted by another vessel and checked over by Largs Lifeboat before making its way to Largs Marina under its own power.
Tasking for Cumbrae Coastguard Rescue Team alongside Largs Coastguard Rescue Team and Largs Lifeboat this morning in response to a man overboard signal received from the Hunterston Channel. After a visual shoreline search, the vessel which owned the device was located and the signal was confirmed to be erroneous.
