Do you remember the Starling Wood Project at Beacon Fell? When we planted 8000 trees, raised ยฃ9000 for charities like Derian House Children's Hospice & Trinity Hospice. The area has flourished into thriving mix of species, thanks to incredible community effort! Nature's resilience is remarkable!
Another wonderful, well attended community event in the memorial forest at Clowes Park, Broughton.
Together with the support of Salford City Council Ranger Team and RHS Community Gardening over 50 people attended to help plant wildflower plugs and clear a woodland walk.
Exciting updates from Crowley Lane Memorial Forest in Oldham! We've started work with volunteers from Crane Payment Innovations to clear fencing and spruce up the woodland. Stay tuned for more progress in the coming months. If you're interested in planting a memorial tree, get in touch!
Cherry trees are in full bloom at Fusiliers Meadow, Whitefield. This memorial forest was opened in 2010 and symbolises our partnership with Bury Council.
Alongside the beautiful trees and hedgerows, the site features a thriving wildflower meadow, soon to burst into life. ๐ธ๐ณ

Despite the weather, our inaugural #EasterEggHunt hosted by the Friends Of Sholver Millennium Green was a hit! With over 70 kids and families joining in. Thanks to Oldham Metro Rotary for contributing 50 eggs and unveiling the pathways.
That's it, it's a wrap, we got the last of the refurbished & repaired #FallenfortheFallen poppies back in the ground yesterday, this one by the Life for a Life in Countess of Chester Country Park.

Thanks to everyone who joined us to support Friends of Tandle Hill Country Park in their woodland management efforts! With the help of volunteers and Oldham Council countryside team, we coppiced Hazel trees, removed dead/dying trees, and created fantastic habitats.
