Yesterday, I had the pleasure of discussing Women, Peace and Security and PSVI with HRH The Duchess of Edinburgh The Royal Family and Melanne Verveer at the launch of the Georgetown Institute Index. The inclusion of women in decision-making is vital to achieving longer lasting peace.
Our Executive Director Melanne Verveer, Professor Karima Bennoune, and Policy Officer Lina call on UN member states to support the codification of gender apartheid, pointing to the Taliban's 'comprehensive and calculated' campaign against women.
