Back from Edinburgh and into TEDx prep. I deliver my talk Sept 23rd from the stage. It amazing to work on themes from my show in different mediums. Also building a workshop, daily planner, and meditation bundle. I came back from Edinburgh with the fire lit!

1/2 way through the show- tech left. Another tech in. Afterwards she apologized. She said “I’m going through something, missed a cue. Panicked.” While I was a bit freaked when she left, I reminded her my show is about getting help when you’re not OK. That’s exactly what she did.

We are back up and running! The “fringe flu” is out. 18 at the show this afternoon. I was afraid having to cancel 2 shows would slow the momentum. Luckily we picked right back up. They were an amazing crowd! And while I was down and out my loves put up my stickers. 🩷

I have to cancel my 1145 performance today. Good crowd + industry 😩. My throat is red, raw. Headache, stuffy nose. Singing sounds like like the worst audition of American Idol. COVID neg. I want to keep everyone safe and give my best performance. Hope you’ll come back next week.

Everything that’s out of my control seems to be a dumpster fire here, but the audience reviews are giving me life.

I remember Angela. stayed after to give me a hug. We had a deep and moving chat. I’m here to serve the audience, but it’s definitely reciprocal. 🙏🏻

It’s vital to remember the why. Mine: Have cross-cultural conversations about narcissism, help people, grow as a performer, put on a great show for the audience. I’ve hit those goals. Thankful to the audiences that choose my show and all the post show chats. 🙏🏻
