Another great service today: we welcomed back our friends from HMS Eaglet Old & Bold, and the Submariners' Association for their annual service.

On this day in 1764, John Newton (former slave ship captain and later the author of Amazing Grace) came to preach at our Church, taking as his text Psalm 130 vv3-4. Delighted to host an exhibition in church this month from The Cowper & Newton Museum as we mark the anniversary.
