A supportive, collaborative ALN session this evening with staff helping one and other. A great example of peer to peer support after ALNCo guidance. (We didn’t manage to capture you all, but thank you to all those who attended this evening)

We attended the official opening of Black Ash Park in Newport. We were delighted to present Lliswerry Primary with a one-year subscription to School of Sign Language , an interactive online learning package that teaches British Sign Language as part of our ongoing commitment to social value!

We often talk about seizing the moments,making the most of the opportunities.Today we took our reading outside in #year3 and the children really enjoyed getting comfy and reading their books.They’ve asked to do it again! *cue everyone doing the sun dance!

#Year3 are understanding the importance of team work in this maths game today. We can’t speak or use gestures, but we must help each other collect all the cards with the same value while always keeping at least two in front of us. #nrichmaths

#year3 have been finding out about where the things that we use and need come from. We have began to understand Fairtrade and why it is important.

#Year3 are using their investigations into rocks to apply their knowledge and make Top Trumps cards using the keywords they have learned. They can’t wait to play with them!
